Our philosophy is simple, skin care products for your skin; naturally.

Prairie Essence LLC is a company that cares about you and cares about the Earth that we all live in and share. The Earth has given all of us a great abundance of natural gifts for us to use and enjoy.  But we must all do our part in protecting and maintaining these earthly treasures.
 
The melding of science and the love for the prairie and its uniques botanicals is what is behind the creation of Prairie Essence products; products that promote healing and health of your skin. At Prairie Essence, we utilize some of the Earth's vast treasure troves of natural botanical extracts to provide products that are good for you and good for the environment.
 
Prairie Essence is a green company, using materials derived from renewable plant sources. Our packaging is completely recyclable and utilizes post consumer products.
 
We do not use non-renewable petroleum products, artificial dyes and colors, parabens, formaldehyde donors or urea based preservatives.

Prairie Essence offers safe and secure on-line shopping via PayPal Shopping Cart Services. We also accept check or money orders if you wish to order by mail. Our printable mail order form can be accessed here. We offer wholesale soap for large orders - for pricing quotes email us at info@prairieessence.com.

 

Shipping
All domestic orders within the contiguous United States are processed and shipped within 48 hours and you can usually expect delivery within 2-5 business days after placing your order. If a customer provides an incorrect shipping address, the customer is responsible for additional shipping charges to reship the order.

Returns
Our guarantee to you... If you are unhappy with the products you received, please send them back within 7 days of purchase. Products must be UNUSED and UNOPENED. This contaminates the product. No exceptions. 

Customer procedure for returns:
Product must arrive to our company within 7 days.
Products must be returned with original invoice received with order.
Products arrive undamaged & unused. 
When sending us returns, we would appreciate it if you could provide a short explanation (although not necessary) for the reason of return. This helps us to better understand our customers needs and assists in the development of better products. All shipping charges incurred for original shipment/returning merchandise to Prairie Essence is the sole responsibility of the customer. Refunds are issued for the original order amount minus all shipping charges.

Company history
 

Prairie Essence came into being over a period of years as Galen and Jacki had been coworkers and had continually discussed the starting of their own natural skin care business. After careful consideration, much research and product testing, Prairie Essence was born in 2009; out of the love of science and out of the love for the prairie and the unique botanicals it can provide for maintaining healthy skin.

Galen has over 25 years experience as a research chemist with over 10 of those years in the personal care products business. Jacki has extensive experience in the business office having been in various positions of increasing responsibility over the years. Together, they are passionate about running Prairie Essence to the best of their abilities and to offer to you products which leave you satisified and your skin in good health.
